Anabond Microloc precoated adhesive system are solvent based, Encapsulated, user-friendly acrylic based, ambient curing adhesives suitable for preventing vibration loosening of threaded fasteners.
These precoat adhesives are well designed to form uniform coating on the fastners. This coating process converts ordinary fastners into user-friendly self locking fastners.
Dry to touch, microloc precoated adhesive become integral part of the fastner and remain inert until the shearing action takes place, During shearing, the microcapsules break and release the adhesive which will eventually polymerize into a tough cured polymeric network. This polymeric network formed between the mating fastners works just in the same way a polymer formed from conventional liquid type anaerobic adhesives. This locks and seals the parts against vibration loosening and shock. |
